Retrofit Management Team (RMT)

The Retrofit Management Team (RMT) analyzes proposed hardware and software changes, and provides logistics assessment of baseline impacts including cost and schedule. RMT provides operational logistics support assistance and initiates correction of reported deficiencies. It monitors, analyzes, and provides status/performance reports of depot repair/warranty at the National Reconditioning Center and central supply at the National Logistics Support Center. RMT develops retrofit/modification plans based on Configuration Control Board-approved changes and performs as secretariat for the triagency Modification/Retrofit Management Team. It procures hardware modification kits and tracks and reports the status of engineering test assets, modification kit proofing assets, and the implementation of modification and retrofit kits in fielded WSR-88D equipment.
