• June 26, 2006 -- Additional Guidance for AWIPS OB6/RPG B8 WAN Dedicated Access placed on-line.

• June 9, 2006 -- A link to a Interim Workaround Procedures for Build 8.0 ORDA Software Issue was placed on-line.

• April 12, 2006 -- Release Notes were placed on-line for Build 8.0 RDA, RPG, & OPUP software.

• February 21, 2006 -- Two OPUP notes were added today. The first explains how to capture OPUP images using SnapShot and the second explains how to then copy these OPUP image files to CD.

• December 2, 2005 -- Release Notes for ORDA Build 7.0 were placed on-line.

• September 30, 2004 -- Release Notes for RPG & OPUP Build 6.0 were placed on-line.

• July 27, 2004 -- Thomas Andretta, NWSFO PIH, has released Version 2 of the logger program which will assist in the performing and archiving of the MSCF/RPG Checklist. This was placed on-line today.

• May 6, 2004 -- A problem has been identified when operating in VCP-12 and information has been faxed to all sites.

• March 29, 2004 -- A ORPG Build 5 Maintenance Alert Notification has been faxed to all DoD and FAA RDA site maintenance technicians. NWS technicians will receive the same information via EMRS.

• October 18, 2003 -- A problem has been located in how RPG Build 4 handles the Max 1-hour Precipitation Alert. See the above link for more information.

• August 6, 2003 -- Release Notes for the Beta Version of RPG Build 4.0 was placed on-line. This document will be updated before Build 4.0 is released.

• March 5, 2003 -- Thomas Andretta, NWSFO PIH, has developed a logger program which will assist in the performing and archiving of the MSCF/RPG Checklist. This was placed on-line today.

• February 21, 2003 -- Today, the WSR-88D Hotline began sending a fax broadcast to all NWS and AF sites that current have Sprint NCS dedicated and dial lines. This NEXRAD Communication Service (NCS) Contract is Moving to FTS2001 in the very near future. Click here to view the original fax broadcast message. • September 13, 2002 -- Today, the WSR-88D Hotline placed on-line sample MSCF/RPG Checklists.

• October 31, 2001 -- Today, the WSR-88D Hotline placed on-line an ORPG News page that will list issue we discover about ORPG.

• May 14, 2001 -- Today, the WSR-88D Hotline began sending a fax broadcast to maintenance technicians at all NWS offices with a survey on the distance from AWIPS to the RPG. One version of the survey is for sites that have a single RPG and a second version is for sites with two RPGs.

• March 9, 2001 -- Today, the WSR-88D Hotline began sending a fax broadcast to all NWS offices with information on a Reduction of NWS Dial Port Connections on CONUS and San Juan RPGs. [ACTION NEEDED FROM NWS PUP AND AWIPS SITES BY 3/23/01].

• January 8, 2001 -- Today, an updated WordPerfect version of the Receiver Calibration Datasheet was placed on-line. Thanks to Daniel Sargent, WFO Albany, NY, for submitting this update.

• January 8, 2001 -- Today, 'Tales topics 6502 to 6514 were removed from the on-line 'Tales catalog. These topics listed Publication Change Requests (PCR's) that have all been updated in the technical manuals. For more information on PCR's, see the ROC PCR web page.

• January 5, 2001 -- Today, the WSR-88D Hotline placed on-line the ROC OPUP Team's OPUP Notification Bulletins.
